In the qualitative part, semi-structured interviews were used and in the quantitative part, a researcher-made questionnaire was used. To assess the reliability of interviews, re-test reliability and inter-subject agreement method were used. The reliability of the questionnaire was assessed by Cronbach's alpha and combined reliability, both of which were approved. The validity of the tool was also evaluated using face validity, content and structure. The method of data analysis in the qualitative section of the theoretical coding was derived from the method of data theorizing. In the quantitative part, descriptive and inferential statistics (tests such as Pearson correlation, confirmatory factor analysis and exploratory factor analysis) were used. The results of the research showed that components of human resources information system included components of data processing, management information system, decision support system, strategic information system and evaluation. Also, the components affecting HR information system included components of organizational culture, organizational structure, organizational support and information technology.
