The similarity between architecture and music from the ancient Greek era was of interest to philosophers, and they believed that architecture and music resembled each other in terms of numbers and geometry and mathematics. In addition, the two art resemble each other in terms of creating space. A space that is in material architecture and in subjective music. Architecture and music, too, are similar in terms of the process of creation, the architect and composer, both dealing with the formless material that forms them and, in accordance with particular rules, put together, and one They create a coherent and integrated effect.
The purpose of this study is to find the differences between architecture and music, and then discover the structural commonality of these two arts. Two arts that are very different in their final product; the most applied art of art and music are the most abstract art. The other object of this study, after discovering differences and commonality, is to provide methods for converting architecture into music. These methods will be presented based on the structural commonalities explained in this research, and factors such as height, depth of notes, Proportions and intervals of action.
This research is based on descriptive-analytical method with reference to library resources, with a detailed description of architecture and music, and analysis of definitions and characteristics, especially in the field of architecture. Following the descriptions of comparative comparisons between architecture and music structure In the general sense. In the last section of the findings, we try to construct a piece of music based on the structure of a Persian house, and three methods are proposed for this.
