Link beam is the most important element or in the other it works as the structural fuse in a eccentricaly braced frame. In this thesis, for the purpose of increasing rotational capacity, energy dissipation and optimization of materials, the study of the replacement of a corrugated plate in place of a flat plate with a stiffner has been addressed for web of link beam. In this regard, using Abaqus software, 18 shear linked beam were modeled that using two different types of plate (trapezoid and curve) at 4 angles and different wave sizes. To calibrate and validate the modeling of the link beam with corrugated web, two laboratory tests was modeld in Abaqus software that one of them was a beam with corrugated web, and another one was tested a link beam in a eccentricaly braced frame. Then shear link beams with different corrugated web were subjected to nonlinear buckling analysis under Cyclic loading in Abaqus software. The results of modeling show that by increasing the angles and the number of waves in the corrugated plate of web, the capacity rotation, energy dissipation and maximum shear strength will increase. The shear strength for T-30-2, T-30-3 and T-30-4 specimens was 983, 1021, and 1052 kN, respectively. before resistance reduction The capacity rotation for T-30-4, T-45-4, T-60-4 and T-90-4 specimens was 0.13, 0.16, 0.175, and 0.179 radians, respectively. Also, in some cases, if the corrugated plate is used instead of a flat plate with a stiffner, it can also achieve greater rotational capacity and energy dissipation and optimize the volume of steel used in web of link beam.
