With the increasing population growth and increasing man-made activities in today's cities, the use of resources and energy has increased dramatically, and the rate of waste, waste and pollution production is also worrying. Alongside these issues, the structure and operation of the city and its facilities and restrictions also affect the rate of consumption and production of materials and waste by the city and citizens. These issues have a profound impact on the natural cycle of the city, in relation to the environment around it and the environmental capacities. Measures the status of a city's urban metabolism, the balance between resource input, its consumption, and the urban system's interactions on resources and resource output. The main purpose of this study is to analyze the effects and consequences of urban structure, patterns and form on urban metabolism in order to evaluate urban sustainability. To achieve this goal, after designing the research, theoretical studies have been conducted in the field of research, and the results of the study have led to the development of a framework for metabolic evaluation criteria and indices. For the purpose of applying the study, district 12 of Tehran municipality was selected as the study sample. The method used in this study is that for analyzing urban form variables affecting urban metabolism performance range from descriptive and exploratory factor analysis to analyzing variables related to factors affecting urban metabolism performance that have In the second part of the study the spatial structure of the area has been used by space layout and appropriate software. In the third part the correlation between the variables has been investigated using the correlation of the structural variables And their effect on high urban metabolism performance
