Currently, we live in a world that has become digital -in the words of Nicholas Negroponte. In today's developing world, on the one hand, all aspects of science and human life are intertwined with technology, and on the other hand, the cheapness of technology has made it widespread in society. Virtual reality and augmented reality are among these technologies. It can be said that virtual reality is the same as simulation, except that the user can interact with objects and people in the environment. Therefore, today, the requierement for a platform for the implementation of augmented and virtual reality in public spaces is felt more than ever. Designers, architects, programmers, etc. can use this opportunity to create new spaces and situations, which ultimately allows people to have new and different experiences from real spaces. To this purpose, this dissertation addresses this issue in two general sections. In the first part, the recognition of basic concepts and related techniques, the study of similar researches and the preperation of theoretical foundations of research have been done by the method of desk review researches. And in the second part, three examples of designable platforms in the virtual reality platform are designed and implemented with the help of related software. In order to implement this platform, the city of Isfahan has been selected due to having a suitable platform for the implementation of smart and digital projects, and since it is not possible to make physical changes in historical and ancient monuments, creating these platforms in such sites is a new and dynamic space and adds innovation to the space. The naghsh-e-Jahan Square is the best option for implementing the design of this dissertation beacuuase of its open space and wide audience. In this study, first the required items for the public space of the square are studied in the field study, then three samples of the desired spaces are designed by using 3D software such as Rhino, Maya, etc., and Finally, with the help of the Unity software and the Arcore plugin, the visible digital samples app are built for Android operating system. These spaces are visible to all smartphones with the Android operating system and allow users to have a new digital experience in the public space of Naghsh-e- Jahan Square. Two of these examples are virtual markets and one of them is a virtual coffee shop.
