Grand Bazaar of Isfahan, which dates back to the Safavid period, is one of the cultural attractions in Isfahan. This bazaar, which starts from the entrance of Qaisaria and continues to the entrance of Isfahan Mosque, has a large number of historical Passage related to the Safavid and Qajar eras. Although, these Saras had many functions little while ago, they are out of use nowadays. One of these Passage is the LENCH PASSAGE, which dates back to the Qajar period. the Lench area has been the center of Rufugri and repairment of the handmade carpets, over years. Despite the historical and cultural value of the Lench it is in a poor physical due to the negligence of authorities and the oldness of the building itself. The present study, first recognizing the building and investigates the damage to the Lench building and then provides the appropriate solutions are provided, And finally examining the potentials of the building and taking the historical contextualism approach, presents The restoration plan. Due to the characteristics and potentials of the Lench Sara and urban context around it, a user permit (commercial, service, & educational center of carpet) was granted to it. An applied method was employed for conducting the current study and the library and field study were used for collecting the data.
