Power electronic converters play an important role in a variety of electrical
technologies, the most important being the booster converter. The basic structure of the
Boost Converter, despite its simplicity and responsiveness to ideal conditions, is virtually
unusable in its actual state, regardless of its control mechanism. The use of diodes in the
converter structure also reduces some of the output voltage despite the cost, weight and
volume of the circuit due to the voltage required to light the diode. Therefore, in order to
solve the two shortcomings mentioned, in this study, the converter structure is modified
by replacing the diode with a MOSFET as well as by employing an LMI controller. By
examining the performance results of the structure intended for the booster converter, it becomes clear.
