The main purpose of this research is to investigating the effect of model functions of the triple maturity of knowledge management (infusion model, general model and KPMG model) in gaining competitive advantage capabilities in the National Petrochemical Company. This research in purpose, is an applied research and in data collection methods, is a descriptive-causal study from the field research field. Also in terms of data type, it is a quantitative-qualitative study. Current research has 6 hypotheses (quantitative section) and a question (qualitative part). The statistical population contains two samples, first example (quantitative section) includes 180 employees of the knowledge department of National Petrochemical Company that, using the Cochran's formula, 120 people selected as sample size. The second example (qualitative part) including, 10 people from company experts who has academic knowledge and work experience in the field of this research. The company experts are used in order to answer the research question (investigating the company's compliance of the triple maturity models). Data were collected by questionnaire and it has two parts: the triple model of knowledge management maturity and competitive advantage capabilities. In order to measure reliability and validity of data collection tools, we used Cronbach's alpha and confirmatory factor analysis. Data analysis and testing hypotheses had been done by using spss23 and lisrel8.80 statistical software. The results of the hypothesis test shows that, effect of model functions of the triple maturity of knowledge management in gaining competitive advantage capabilities in the National Petrochemical Company has positive and significant impact. Dimensions of effect of model functions of the triple maturity of knowledge management (organizational processes, human resources, technology, knowledge content) also has positive and significant impact in gaining competitive advantage capabilities in the National Petrochemical Company. The results also showed, National Petrochemical Company among the three maturing models, is more adaptable with infusion model with an average of 3.62 and the percentage obtained (72%) and KPMG model and general model with an average of 3.3 and 3.25, respectively, are ranked second and third.
