Crowdsourcing is a type of participative online activity in which an individual, an institution, a nonprofit organization, or company proposes to a group of individuals of varying knowledge, heterogeneity, and number, via a flexible open call, the voluntary undertaking of a task. The undertaking of the task; of variable complexity and modularity, and; in which the crowd should participate, bringing their work, money, knowledge, experience, always entails mutual benefit. The user will receive the satisfaction of a given type of need, be it economic, social recognition, self-esteem, or the development of individual skills, while the crowdsourcer will obtain and use to their advantage that which the user has brought to the venture, whose form will depend on the type of activity undertaken.
This paper focuses on the selection the right crowd based on the recognition of personality traits and the degree of independence or dependence on twitter users and retrieval of contextual information, first, we identify big5 personality traits, second calculate the degree of independence or dependency on the theory of beliefs through the behavior of Twitter users, and finally predict right crowd to solve the tasks. We also evaluate the results of the experiment in two ways, by machine learning methods and by the views of the cognitive experts. In the first method, using XGBoost, we have achieved 89.59% accuracy measurement for personality traits. We have used the views of cognitive scientists to improve the accuracy and efficiency of the cognitive computing framework of selecting the right crowd based on personality traits and their degree of independence or dependence.
