Job satisfaction influences every aspect of man’s life. This fact is much bolder in site jobs and jobs far from the crowd such as the construction industry. Therefore, it’s of great importance to study the influential factors on job satisfaction in construction industry staff in order to present a fine guide to the clients and supervisors to make convenient decisions to improve job satisfaction level. Even though this has been studied around the world, its absence can be clearly seen in Iran’s construction industry researches. Thus, the present study has focused upon the influential factors on job satisfaction of Iran’s construction industry staff. This has been done studying the factors independently considering the correlation coefficient among the factors. It has also employed Social Network Analysis (SNA) to evaluate job satisfaction instead of using statistical methods. To do the analysis, a questionnaire was made including the already recognized influential factors on job satisfaction. Distributing the questionnaire among the site staff around the country presented a set of results. The distribution of the resulted data and the demography of the respondents were recognized using statistical approaches in SPSS software. The processed data was ranked and clustered regarding the factors’ relative importance through SNA approach using Gephi software. The results of the analysis prioritized the factors influencing job satisfaction as “Bonus and extra benefits”, “Payment adequacy”, “Promotion opportunity”, “Education opportunity”, and “Opportunity for skill development” which, in turn, proved hypothesis 1 to be true, i.e. financial factors are among the most important ones. The results proved hypothesis 2 as well which declared that there are similar influential job satisfaction factors in Iran for the construction industry staff to those in the improving countries.
