Abstract:
In the present study, in the first stage, C-AlF3 nanocomposite consisting of cubic crystals such as aluminum fluoride distributed in the form of carbon was synthesized by combustion method several times with different conditions and according to the type and method of reaction, the best synthesis method was selected. The synthesized nanocomposite C-AlF3 was detected by FT-IR, XRD, EDX, SEM, DRS and BET techniques.
In addition, the use of this nanocomposite as a catalyst in organic Heck reaction was investigated. Its performance in removing methylene-blue (MB) and methyl-orange (MO) colored pollutants from water has also been studied. Due to its very low solubility and the diffusion of AlF3 nanoparticles into the water, the solution was combined with nickel-copper-ferrite-magnetic material to better separate the nanocomposite from aqueous solutions.
The results showed that the synthesized nanocomposite had a moderate yield for methyl orange absorption and a lower absorption percentage for methylene blue absorption. The use of this material as a catalyst in the Heck reaction has led to the production of various by-products.
