Given that the current context of the business environment is highly variable and ambiguous; Managers need to discover innovation opportunities quickly. Managers are responsible for formulating organizational goals, strategic decision-making and planning, controlling, allocating and coordinating organizational resources. Managers of different organizations make different decisions in the face of environmental changes, which explains their competitiveness and performance differences. The issue of dynamic managerial capabilities has been raised due to the importance of these capabilities on the performance of organizations and to explain the differences in management decisions. Dynamic managerial capabilities consist of three capabilities: managerial human capital, managerial social capital and managerial cognition. In this dissertation, an attempt has been made to explain these capabilities and their micro-foundations. In this regard, by reviewing the literature, the microfoundations for dynamic managerial capabilities which presented in previous studies was considered as the initial framework. In order to evaluate the impact of these capabilities on the performance of technology-oriented firms, this framework was judged by experts and after its approval, in order to validate it in practice, questionnaires were designed and distributed in technology-oriented firms. This study also uses the fuzzy dimtel method to investigate the effectiveness and efficiency of each of the micro-foundations in the technology-oriented firms under study. The findings of the present study indicate that the micro-foundations of skills, training and expertise are the most important. Also experience has the greatest impact on other micro-foundations. The mirofoundation of social communication are also more influential than other microfoundations. The results of the present study indicate the introduction of a set of micro-foundations of dynamic managerial capabilities affecting the performance of technology-oriented firms in the study and the need to pay attention to the different importance of these dynamic managerial capabilities according to the specific organizational and environmental conditions of each firm.
