In recent years, with respect to electricity power demand and supply imbalance, and also more
serious pressure for protecting energy sources, traditional power system has difficulties according
to the increasing power supply based on load curve. As a result, using smart grids is needed.
Research in smart grid’s field and also cooperating between smart grids and demand-response are
main challenges all over the world.
Many researches which have started in past years in demand-response field have the goal of
decreasing power price, clearing transfer lines congestion, improving security and improving
money supply in the market. Demand-response is one of the best existed plans for coordinated
interaction between smart grid and electricity loads. Demand-response management is a key
component for decreasing power consumption in peak times. despite the amount of concentration
on demand-response subject, there are few studies about potential benefits of it in smart grids.
In this research, for motivating customers for active participation in this program, has been tried
to review the buyer and seller profit in different situations and effect of agent agreements on
amount of their profit in different negotiations and auctions. Multi agent system in smart grid,
manages existed agents in smart grid. Multi agent system ability, has simplified smart grid market
management and by using power auction strategies and power pricing in smart grid this
management will become more simple. Implementation results show that, if both producer and
customer cooperate, they will reach to their profit and with active cooperation in agreements,
auctions and taking suitable risks, they can get acceptable profit.
