Education centers have a strategic role in developing the capabilities of society and examining their performance in various dimensions has always been the focus of relevant managers. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the research performance of higher education institutions through its affiliated units using fuzzy network analysis method.
For this purpose, initially, by reviewing the organizational documents of higher education institutions, especially universities, evaluation indicators were identified under each of the dimensions of the balanced scorecard, which resulted in achieving 20 performance evaluation indicators, which were classified into 4 dimensions of BSC model.
Finally, based on the obtained weights, the performance of higher education institutions in Tehran was evaluated and its strengths and weaknesses were identified. The financial dimension with 0.32 has the highest score, followed by internal processes with 0.30 with the highest score.
Dimensions of growth and learning and the customer have the lowest score with 0.25 and 0.12, respectively.
