Nowadays, performance management has become the obsession of vigorous managers who are interested in the improvement of human force. Organizations need to improve their performance uninterruptedly in order to survive and make progress in a world of competition; the individual and organizational performance modification is the key to success in this competition. Nowadays, the human resources are the most significant resources within each organization which are the creator of stable competitive advantage for the organization. Therefore, possessing employees with high and efficient performance is one of the most important factors for the organization to achieve organizational goals. The system of performance management which is one of the special topics in strategic human force management, while improving the competency of the employees helps the managers to elevate the performance level of the employees and as a result the whole organization. In this research, there has been an attempt to investigate the effect of performance management on the job satisfaction and the organizational commitment of the employees working in the clinics of Karaj. To achieve this goal, a standard questionnaire as an evaluation tool has been used which was distributed among the employees of the clinics in the city and eventually 334 statistical samples were collected. The data analysis was carried out by the confirmatory factor analysis technique and the modeling of the structural equations. The results show a meaningful relationship between the performance management variables (editing, performance evaluation, etc.) and job satisfaction. The results also reveal that the relationship between the two dimensions of the performance management (editing and run performance) and the organizational commitment has been meaningful, while there has not been any meaningful relationship between performance evaluation and organizational commitment. It can also be deduced from the results that the job satisfaction has a meaningful influence on the organizational commitment.
