Abstract
Over the past decade, the advent of digital technologies has profoundly changed the nature of business globally. The introduction of the concept of digital transformation has dramatically affected various dimensions of business and commerce. With the help of digital technologies, the speed, accuracy, and precision of processes and activities in various businesses have been dramatically optimized, which has saved the time, energy, and resources of organizations and businesses. Today, the implementation of digital transformation in organizations as an undeniable competitive advantage has been considered by senior managers of organizations and businesses.
In this regard, according to studies and review of various sources, in general, limited and few models of digital transformation in Iran and possibly other countries are available, which are usually specific to large industries such as banking, insurance, shipping, telecommunications, oil, and petrochemicals, etc. Considering the lack of resources in every way, small and medium enterprises do not use the unique model to achieve digital transformation in their organizations. Therefore, designing a model for the realization of digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises based on services, especially in health care, can be an appropriate response to this gap.
Based on this study's findings, the factors affecting the realization of digital transformation in these firms were identified and introduced in 4 main criteria: management and leadership of the organization, information technology of the organization, business processes, activities, and people related to the organization with 26 sub-criteria. After obtaining the opinions of university professors and conducting specialized interviews with 11 experts in the fields of digital transformation and digital health and conducting a content validity test, the effectiveness of these criteria and their related sub-criteria to achieve digital transformation, through the solution data analysis and multi-criteria decision-making methods are prioritized, and the relevant model is introduced.
