The squares and streets of the city are the manifestation of the visual environment. In the past, buildings, in addition to being executed with unique features and in accordance with the principles and criteria of urban wall design, ultimately had respect for the buildings around them in the field. Today, however, in all cities of Iran, the confusion caused by the lack of coordination and appropriateness in the visual composition of urban walls is significant, and every day we see the growth of hegemony of walls in cities that neither have a common culture to express nor follow a specific style. Four gardens, we see severe disorder in the urban wall, so much so that this valuable and identity axis, which is a valuable historical support not only for Isfahan but also for the world, in the cold seasons of the year without the presence of trees, only the disorder of the walls Demonstrates that the main question of this research is to obtain the basic elements of urban wall design and also to formulate the main features of urban walls. Its purpose is to compile an urban wall design guide based on the components affecting the urban wall design in accordance with the context and its application in the most valuable and identity-oriented historical axis of Isfahan, Chaharbagh Abbasi. After recognizing the urban wall, its characteristics were expressed as the main field of research. Mental characteristics of the wall, which includes 8 subjective and effective criteria in designing a suitable wall, and objective characteristics of the wall, including three categories, wall components, wall components and major parts of the wall, which includes 15 criteria, as features The main ones are intended for street wall design. The present study is a combination of two descriptive-analytical methods and in terms of research methods, field and library. Simultaneous recognition and analysis of three levels of research in the fifth chapter is based on criteria and variables extracted from the chapter on theoretical foundations. The final output of this research is the urban wall design guide as a progressive document in guiding and developing the urban wall, while the application and performance of the contextual approach in compiling the wall design guide from macro to micro level as a main element and direction. The donor has been overlooked because the urban wall is the basis for strategic and metropolitan views of Isfahan, and its quality will be effective even at emotional levels and semantic association. In completing the findings of this study, we can mention the need to provide a method for accurate visual display of urban walls, when making a decision along with the urban wall design guide. Finally, the urban wall design guide of Chaharbagh with emphasis on following the wall design guide of Isfahan metropolitan area and preparing a zoning map of Isfahan urban wall design, in four sections of wall components, wall components, major features of the wall and The mental characteristics of the wall were developed.
