Abstract One of the important mechanical properties of concrete is the compressive strength, which is very effective in the concrete mixing design. Parameters such as cement grade, water to cementitious materials, cement substitutes, etc. affect the compressive strength of concrete, which due to the abundance of parameters, it has become difficult to predict the compressive strength of concrete. Accordingly, the present study was conducted to investigate the methods of quality control, compressive strength of concrete made in dam construction workshops in Kurdistan province. In this study, Laboratory concrete samples used from dam construction workshops in Kurdistan province in collaboration with soil analysis consulting engineers have been used. Which was taken from 450 samples, 328 28-day compressive strength data, with mixing design Different were randomly selected and used according to Appendix No. 1. Based on the results, it was found that 95% of the data for 28-day compressive strength was in the range between 291 to 300 kg / cm2, so most of the obtained resistances are acceptable. Finally, the practical application of this research can be expressed as follows: 1. In the implementation of concrete structures to achieve this goal, proper training of manpower, quality control of manpower and quality control of materials storage in the workshop and proper management is very important. It then has quality control before concreting, which includes checking the specifications of formwork, reinforcement and testing of raw materials used in concrete (cement, aggregates, water, additives and fibers). 2. Perform quality control during concreting, which includes Concrete mixing control, transfer, compaction and processing.3. Postconstruction quality control According to the concrete quality control tests on hardened samples that are mentioned in the second chapter, finally, according to the mixing design and the amount of compressive and slip resistance of each sample, the most suitable ones can be found in Structures used.
