Air pollution and the reduction of fossil fuels, as well as the many changes in environmental pollution in recent decades, have led architects to design homes that can be most adapted to their environment with the least amount of energy consumption. In recent decades, due to the rapid growth of the southern regions of the country, the amount of construction is increasing. A high percentage of these constructions have been built up without considering the adaptation to the climate of the region, while with its unique climate it is necessary to consider a high coexistence of the building with the environment to achieve greater comfort. The city of Ahvaz, like all cities in Iran, has its own unique climate. In recent years, due to high temperature humidity, and the presence of dust, the need to design houses that are compatible with the climate of this region is more felt. For this reason, a careful study of the climate of Ahvaz at this time and the design of houses in harmony with the climate of these days, is necessary and can play a vital role in the comfort of life of the people of this city. In this study, after a careful study of the climate of Ahvaz and how to design houses that are compatible with the climate of this city, the necessary principles for these houses were extracted. Then, to deal with environmental problems in this city, a detail was designed that has two moving and fixed parts and can prevent the penetration of moisture and dust into the buildings to an acceptable extent. The angle of the shaders in this detail was evaluated using computer modeling and Honyybee, Ladybug and Energy Plus software, then the optimal position of them in the designed detail was obtained using these softwares. Afterward, a model in one to five dimensions of the designed model was made and in the laboratory environment using data loggers and creating the prevailing conditions in Ahvaz (with the help of a heater and design of an isolated environment), the amount of heat and humidity control was examined. These studies were performed in two different cases with and without detail. After examining the information of the data loggers, it was found that the design of the shaders reduces the air temperature by up to 5 degrees and the air humidity by up to 20%.
