Abstract
Medical equipment refers to any device, software, material, or other similar or related item used to
diagnose, prevent, monitor, treat, or reduce disease.
Therefore, these devices are present in every stage of health care and can change the way they are
organized, implemented and presented in the treatment process. The medical device industry is a
growing industry with many challenges that require sophisticated technologies that must overcome
difficult and legal barriers.
In the path of medical device innovation, there are many potential challenges such as patents,
regulatory approvals, market dynamics, various business models, competition, accreditation, clinical
trials, technical feasibility studies that, If not managed skillfully, it will prevent the best idea from
becoming medical device
Because healthcare costs are constantly rising, so high priority is given to those medical technologies
that create value. Increasing value means that increasing health care costs is now one of the economic
and political issues of the current century and this problem is quite evident in most societies. This has
led to a doubling of the sector's budget, forcing governments to reduce support for infrastructure,
education and other expenditures to fund medical-related issues and other health programs. Value
means technologies that generate acceptable output at a reasonable cost.
The method used in this research is content analysis method, which is one of the qualitative methods.
In this method, data obtained from research sources such as academic innovation literature and other
sources in this field such as bio design related books and experiences in this field have been analyzed.
Data were collected by reviewing texts related to innovation and interviews, and validation of
research results was done by surveys of experts, and ultimately aims to provide a comprehensive
picture of the innovation process.
The purpose of this study is to provide a model that can be used to study and influence the direction of
medical device innovations.
In this model, a large number of factors that affect this activity are examined and explained and
different roles are discussed.
Finally, this research offers suggestions for improving the path of innovation and methods
