چكيده نئوليبراليسم به عنوان يكي از ايدئولوژيهاي مطرح زمان ما،تمام جنبه هاي زندگي ما به خصوص اموزش را تحت تاثير قرار داده است.نئوليبراليسم،اموزش را هدف قرار داده و قصد در از بين بردن اخلاقيات و جنبه هاي فرهنگي اموزش و جايگزين كردن نيازها و علايق نسل جديد با اهداف و منافع مالي گروهي از كشورها دارد. در دوره ي نئوليبراليسم،مدارس و اموزشگاهها،هدف غايي خود را تغيير داده و در حال پرورش منابع انساني هستندكه اماده ي براورده كردن اهداف نئوليبراليستي است. علارغم تحقيقات متعددي كه در زمينه ي نئوليبراليسم و تاثيرات ان بر اموزش انجام شده است،در ايران فقط يك تحقيق در اين زمينه صورت گرفته است.به نظر ميرسد كه در ايران هيچ تحقيفي در رابطه با ميزان اگاهي معلمان زبان انگليسي ايراني از ايدئولوژيهاي نئوليبراليستي در كتابهاي درسي انگليسي اموزشگاههاواينكه ايا در برنامه هاي اموزشي معلمان اگاهي داده ميشود يا خير،انجام نشده است. در اين تحقيق،ميزان اگاهي معلمان زبان انگليسي ايراني كه در اموزشگاهاي زبان انگليسي تدريس ميكنند،مورد بررسي قرار گرفته شده است.. 15 معلم زبان انگليسي اموزشگاهها در اين تحقيق كيفي شركت كرده و مورد مصاحبه قرار گرفتند.نتايج حاصل از اين تحقيق نشان داد كه تنها تعداد كمي از معلمان زبان انگليسي در مورد نئوليبراليسم و نفوذ آن بر اموزش و كتاب هاي درسي اگاهي كافي داشتند و تقريبا بيشتر معلمان زبان انگليسي ، با مفهوم نئوليبراليسم بيگانه هستند. همچنين مشخص گرديد كه در برنامه هاي اموزشي معلمان زبان ايراني، هيچ اگاهي در مورد ايدئولوژي هاي نئوليبرالسيتي و نفوذ ان در كتاب هاي درسي انگليسي اموزشگاهها داده نمي شود. و همان تعداد محدود از معلمان زبان اموزشگاه ها كه از اين ايدئولوژي و تاثيرات آن اگاهي داشتند، تنها با استفاده از مثال هاي بومي سازي شده، و مطابق با فرهنگ ايراني ، سعي در مقابله با تاثيرات اين ايدئولوژي بر روي افكار نسل جديد را داشتند. پيشنهاد ميشود كه در برنامه هاي اموزشي معلمان انگليسي، اطلاع رساني كامل و جامع در مورد اين ايدئولوژي به معلمان زبان داده شود، تا انها بتوانند با استفاده از روش مناسب و بكارگيري تفكر انتقادي خود و اگاهي دادن به زبان اموزان در برابر نفوذ اين ايدئولوژي اگاهي سازي كنند.

Iranian EFL Teachers’ Awareness of Neoliberalism Ideologies in English Textbooks: Implications for Teacher Education programs

Neoliberalism as a dominant ideology of our era, has influenced all aspects of our life, especially education. Neoliberalism pointed its gun to the educational institutions in order to vanish morality and cultural part of education and replace needs and interests of new generation with market's interests. In the era of neoliberalism, schools have changed their ultimate goals and just generate human capital who are prepared to fulfill neoliberal's demands. Despite a large body of research on neoliberalism and its effect on education in the world, just one study has been don on neoliberalism and its effect on education, in Iran. It appears that there has been no research exploring Iranian EFL teacher's awareness about neoliberalist ideologies in English textbooks and if such awareness was granted to them in teacher educational program. It also investigated EFL teacher's strategy to challenge neoliberalism within the classroom as well as their practice for enhancing English learner’s political consciousness. Fifteen EFL teachers participated in this qualitative study. The results showed that, just few EFL teachers were well informed about this concept and most of them were not acquainted with neoliberalism its manifestations in materials they were teaching. It also revealed that no information is given to teachers about neoliberalism, through teacher educational program. Moreover, it clarified that teachers who are not familiar with this concept, teach material as they are imposed and dictated, and few informed teachers by the aid of localized examples, try to resist against penetrations of neoliberalist ideologies. Finally, it indicated that almost all the teachers tried not to speak about political issues related to educational policy in the class, so as not to lose their job. This study recommends teacher educational programs, raise teacher's awareness about this concept and training them to develop their critical thinking skills to contribute to a democratic education.
