با توسعه شهرها و افزايش تقاضاي سفرهاي درون¬شهري، نياز به جابه¬جايي مردم و كالاها طي سال‌هاي اخير روزبه¬روز افزون¬تر گشته است. سفرهاي بلند با سواري شخصي بخش عمده‌اي از جابه‌جايي شهروندان در فعاليت‌هاي روزانه شهر را تشكيل مي‌دهند. اين سفرها سهم عمده‌اي در كيلومتر پيموده شده در شبكه و نهايتا نقش بزرگي در آلودگي‌هاي ناشي از حمل و نقل در شهر را بر عهده دارند. بر اين اساس هدايت اين سفرها به طريقه هايي چون حمل و نقل همگاني ضروري به نظر مي‌رسد. با توسعه و افزايش كارايي و مطلوبيت آن با افزايش سهم سيستم¬هاي حمل و نقل عمومي از تقاضاي سفرهاي شهري، نياز به استفاده از وسايل شخصي كاهش مي¬يابد و اين امر مي¬تواند تأثير بسيار مطلوبي در امر حمل و نقل و بهبود ترافيك، ميزان مصرف سوخت و آلاينده¬ها داشته باشد. حمل و نقل عمومي تركيبي به عنوان يك جايگزين پايدار براي سفرهاي به وسيله خودروي شخصي مورد استقبال قرار گرفته است كه سازگار با محيط زيست بوده و انعطاف پذيري را براي شهروندان فراهم مي كند. همچنين حمل و نقل عمومي با ارائه سفرهاي راحت‌تر از طريق حالت‌هاي مختلف خود، رضايت مسافران را بيشتر كرده است. شبكه‌هاي عادي و معمول در مناطق شهري، به ويژه در كلان شهرها كه شهروندان مي توانند از اين تركيبات استفاده كنند مانند ماشين شخصي، تاكسي، دوچرخه، مترو، اتوبوس و پياده روي مي‌باشد. با استفاده از اين شبكه ها با صرفه جويي در زمان و هزينه خود، منافع واقعي را براي ديگر شهروندان به ارمغان مي آورد، و همچنين به طور قابل توجهي به توسعه پايدار كلان‌شهر‌ها كمك مي‌كند. واضح است كه حمل و نقل تركيبي محدوديت هايي نيز دارد از جمله دسترسي طولاني، سفرهاي طولاني، انتقال و دسترسي محدود به شبكه حمل و نقل. از آنجا كه حمل و نقل عمومي همان حمل و نقل تركيبي است، لازم به ارزيابي عملكرد سيستم هاي حمل و نقل تركيبي است. به دليل اينكه دسترسي به تنها يك نوع از شبكه حمل و نقل عمومي در تمام نقاط شهر امكان‌پذير نمي‌باشد؛ لذا ما به تركيب چند نوع از شبكه حمل و نقل عمومي پرداخته‌ايم. ابتدا بايد نقاط اتصال اين شبكه‌ها به هم را شناسايي كرده و بهترين، كوتاهترين و كم هزينه‌ترين مسير را پيشنهاد كنيم.

Combined public transport has been hailed as a sustainable alternative to private car travel that is environmentally friendly and provides citizens with flexibility. Public transportation has also increased passenger satisfaction by providing easier travel through its various modes. Common networks in urban areas, especially in metropolitan areas, where citizens can use these combinations, such as cars, taxis, bicycles, subways, buses and pedestrians. Using these networks saves time and money, brings real benefits to other citizens, and also significantly contributes to the sustainable development of metropolises. It is clear that combined transport has its limitations, including long access, long journeys, transportation, and limited access to the transportation network. Since public transport is the same as combined transport, it is necessary to evaluate the performance of combined transport systems. Because access to only one type of public transport network is not possible in all parts of the city; Therefore, we have combined several types of public transportation networks. We must first identify the connection points of these networks and suggest the best, shortest and cheapest route.
