blockchain technology has shown from the beginning that it has a promising application perspective, and in recent years it has created a great change in the world, which has attracted a lot of attention from universities and industry. A blockchain can be thought of as a sequence of interconnected blocks that act as a public database and, in addition to eliminating intermediaries, provide the security needed to store information, using encryption and data distribution algorithms. Makes it impossible to hack, target and manipulate recorded information. The concept of blockchain first emerged with the advent of digital currencies, and Bitcoin, called the king of digital currencies, has been recognized as the most important factor in the development and popularity of this technology worldwide. In collecting and writing, we have tried to give a brief introduction to the blockchain, its unique structure and features, the cryptographic algorithms used in it, cloud computing and how to create its security. Due to the features of blockchain, this technology is used in various fields such as IoT, which in the final part of the content, while introducing the structure of IoT, we have discussed how to use the blockchain in it.
