Financing in infrastructure projects is one of the most important issues for the development of any country. In this research, we tried to facilitate this by examining the use of Crowdfunding, and in this regard, by using blockchain technology, the steps of this work were done with more security, Consensus, less time, elimination of intermediaries, and finally in the form of Smart contracts can be executed. The purpose of this study is to investigate the feasibility of using the blockchain-based Crowdfunding of infrastructure projects.
The important results of this research are identifying independent variables that affect the blockchain-based crowdfunding platform of infrastructure projects and examining the importance of each by using structural equation modeling with partial least squares approach to prioritize the most important Platform features.
Then by the obtained most important characteristics, which include Blockchain features, smart contracts, rate of return on investment and the initial coin offering based on blockchain, which have the highest intensity coefficients of 0.530, 0.410, 0.360 and 0.330, respectively, providing the operational framework for the platform. This platform has a number of influential features in the mass financing of infrastructure projects, which are clearly defined.
Finally, by identifying the strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats ahead, the SWOT table is presented in relation to the operational framework of the platform.
In this research, we tried to create a path for safe investment using blockchain technology in infrastructure projects by a large number of investors, which is an opportunity to cross traditional borders with the aim of achieving the desired result and timely investments in the direction of development the country.
