The in-mold-casting process is novel, high efficiency, environmentally friendly, economic, high molten controllability, and less tendency to form carbide relative to other cast iron inoculation methods. In this research, the influence of ferrosilicon at amounts of 0.8, 1, 1.2 percent and ferrosilicon magnesium at amounts of 0.8, 1, 1.2, and 1.5 percent with goals of cellular structure manufacture by lost foam casting method were investigated. Also, the effect of mentioned inoculation alloy on the arms and thin sections was studied. Nodular percent, nodular count, amount of phases in substructure in 2 places of upper and bottom of the part are calculated with an optical microscope. In order to analyze samples and evaluate the chemical composition, the scanning electron microscope, X-ray fluorescence, and quantum diffraction tests were performed. Gray cast iron samples are used according to the required mechanical properties of the best ferrosilicon is 1.2 percent, and in spheroidization with ferrosilicon magnesium, 1.2 percent the best samples. In this study, the cellular structure is well performed by lost foam casting.
