After the selecting Tehran as the capital of Iran and its physical expansion, many villages were placed in the path of the city and were inevitably polished off in it. By facing these valuable, problematic and ancient context is one of the urban problems of Tehran today. Jamaran neighborhood with a historical-political identity has undergone such these changes and the paradox of "rural city" of Jamaran has been formed. The social, economic, cultural, physical, and traffic complexity in Jamaran neighborhood, which in the past was considered as a Shemiran’s countryside, by combining rural and urban characteristics in different dimensions, has caused this biological complex to not have the full characteristics of a village or city. Nor does it have the characteristics of an urban society. Also, the connection of this neighborhood with the political-revolutionary culture of Iran has increased the importance of knowing this urban fabric totally. The choice of urban architecture approach is absolutely vital because it is approaching us to the desired goals of the Jamaran neighborhood in particular and other similar fabrics in general..
