Given the potential of the country, the dried fruit production industry can become a profitable industry by using the right methods and planning. Iran's climatic situation and the diversity of fruits have given its citizens the opportunity to produce dried fruits even in the form of home-based businesses. Most fruits are perishable due to their high water content and should be consumed immediately after storage or stored in a special way. In today's modern world, saving time and using the least energy resources with the highest efficiency are very important, so the main purpose of this article is to design a home fruit dryer with different features from the samples on the market that can be localized. This industry is very useful and beneficial. The research method in this study is descriptive-case study. According to the social sustainability approach, thus, the social dimension in interaction with other economic and ecological dimensions, consolidates sustainable development and forms the totality of research. According to research, the best methods of drying fruit are elemental, osmotic and microwave, each of which has its advantages and disadvantages. More advanced methods are currently in the laboratory research phase. Therefore, it was preferred to eva‎luate the applied methods in the user-centered design process. Also, the focus of this project is on the social sustainability approach that the research has led to the removal of the list of do's and don'ts in organizations and manufacturing companies. According to interviews, people are more inclined to buy products whose technology is already on the market. And have less risk to buy. Depending on the position of the company, it is the best option to produce this device from the element and to use methods such as osmosis, advertising needs and employing sales companies for the success of the final product.
