Abstract
The main subject of this project is designing a high-rise residential complex free of current shortcomings and problems in nowadays Tehran, with emphasis on creating a special space for children to be formed to promote children's social interactions and strengthen these interactions in society. The process of advancing the project was identified by Programming to reach to targets such as "Providing space according to selected criteria of social sustainability appropriate to the subject and the impact of each component on children's social interactions", "Providing dynamic spaces that increase diversity and attractiveness of presence in social spaces", "Providing special spaces that increase Children’s participation to create a sense of socialization and belonging to the environment for them"," Providing play spaces using developmental psychology and recognizing the children’s behavior and reactions to increase their social interactions". In theoretical foundations section, stating the purpose of social interactions in architecture and its effect on the formation of space to promote social interactions of children between 7 to 12 years old, the role of children, social interactions and playing in residential places formation is being examined. Then, with a view to high-rise buildings, the role of structure, architectural space, highrise building, green space, etc. are analyzed. In the next step, the existing samples in Iran and the world will be analyzed. Finally, the research findings in these buildings will be examined and a conclusion in creating the desired spaces in the final design will be accessed. This dissertation is considered as a qualitative research dissertation and has been written by descriptive-analytical research method. Information and data were collected through library methods and theoretical studies and field studies, and then analyzed based on qualitative methods. The aim is providing a residential space plan to promote social interactions, especially for children aged 7 to 12. Finally, by providing solutions for designing a residential complex for children, and the architectural plan of this center is presented on the proposed site.
