Due to the appearance of the coronavirus, which has caused many problems for human societies, the disinfection of objects has become a high priority. Ultraviolet waves at a specific frequency and wavelength can kill the coronavirus.
The purpose of this project is to design, manufacture and apply a device for use by ordinary citizens on an economical scale that can be used with the existing conditions in the country.
In this dissertation, a device designed to disinfect places and equipment without applying harmful substances, chemicals, and the need for long-term ventilation of the environment after disinfection, and leaving a damaging effect by ultraviolet rays at wavelength 254 nm.
For this purpose, the components of the device were designed in SOLIDWORKS software, whose overall dimensions are 30 x 30 cm with a height of 70 cm. In the design stages of this device, features have been considered such as easy transportation, the possibility of building and assembling the system with minimal cost and time, use in a variety of environmental conditions, simple repair and installation of components, no need for the presence of a person while working the device.

Then, the manufacturing process of the machine was started by welding and turning, and drilling the iron profile of the central column and the column plate in the workshop by the relevant machine.
Finally, all the components prepared in the workshop were assembled, and then other required components were installed, which include a UV lamp, remote control, and lamp holder.
This device is not automatic and must be controlled manually, the lamps in this device can inactivate and kill microorganisms, especially Covid-19 in a certain period of time.
The most important advantages of this device are the protection of people against ultraviolet rays, which is satisfied by using the remote control in this device.
