عوامل گوناگون مانند حوادث تاريخي، عوامل انساني و عوامل طبيعي همواره سبب تحولات در مواريث فرهنگي شده است. از اين روي بسياري از پژوهشگران در صدد مستندسازي اين دگرگوني‌ها و حفظ ميراث برجاي مانده هستند. با پيشرفت تكنولوژي مدرن، روند مستندسازي بيش از پيش افزايش يافته است. در پژوهش هاي اخير، از واقعيت افزوده جهت مستند سازي تحولات ميراث فرهنگي استفاده شده است. اين درحالي است كه در اين تحقيق‌ها بيشتر به بازنمايي بناهاي تاريخي پرداخته شده است. كمتر پژوهشي را مي توان يافت كه از تكنولوژي واقعيت افزوده در بازنمايي بافت هاي تاريخي بهره گرفته باشد. پايان‌نامه پيش روي بر آن است تا تاثير تكنولوژي هاي مدرن بر درك ويژگي هاي اصيل بافت هاي تاريخي را آشكار سازد. بناي شيخ لطف‌الله و پيرامون آن دچار تغييرات بسياري شده است. عدم آگاهي از ويژگي‌هاي كالبدي اصيل اين بنا و بافت آن سبب ايجاد آسيب‌هاي جبران ناپذير شده است. در اين تحقيق ابتدا اسناد تاريخي موجود از بناي شيخ لطف‌الله و بافت پيرامون آن تحليل شد. بعد از آشكار شدن تحولات در هر دوره، مستندسازي هركدام انجام شد. سپس، مدل‌سازي سه بعدي بر اساس كهن ترين سند موجود از محدوده انجام گرفت. مقايسه اين بازنمايي مجازي با وضعيت كنوني بافت تغييرات رخ داده در بافت را براي مخاطبان آشكار مي‌سازد. مستندسازي و بازنمايي تحولات بناي شيخ لطف الله و بافت پيرامون آن مي‌تواند سبب محافظت موثرتر از آن‌ها در آينده شود.

Documenting the Changes of Sheikh Lotfollah and Urban District Around It Based on Historical Documents, Using Augmented Reality Technology

Various factors including historical events, human factors, and natural factors have always caused changes in cultural heritage. Hence, many researchers seek to document these changes and preserve the heritage. With the advancement of modern technology, the process of documentation has increased dramatically. Recent research has used augmented reality to document cultural heritage developments. However, in these researches, the focus is on the representation of historical monuments. Among these studies, few studies can be found that have used augmented reality technology to represent historical contexts. This dissertation aims to reveal the impact of modern technologies on the understanding of the original features of historical urban district. Sheikh Lotfallah's building and its surroundings have gone through significant changes. Lack of awareness of the original form of this building and its neighbors has caused irreparable damage. In this research, first, the existing historical documents of Sheikh Lotfollah's building and the urban around it were analyzed. After revealing the developments and changes in this part, documentation of these changes was done. Then, three-dimensional modeling was performed based on the oldest available document. Comparing this virtual representation with the current state of the Sheikh lotfollah and its surrounding urban reveals changes to the visitors. Documenting and representing the developments of Sheikh Lotfollah's building and the surrounding context can lead to more effective protection for them in the future.
