Today, the companies active in the petrochemical industry (especially the companies in Mahshahr Special Economic Zone) are exposed to many challenges. These challenges force companies to continuously eva‎luate their strategies to improve performance. The purpose of this research is to the study of effect of corporate social responsibility on performance of active companies in petrochemical special economic zone of mahshahr with the mediating role of green human resource management and environmental commitments. The upcoming research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-causal in terms of nature. The investigated variables are in the form of a conceptual model, which includes the independent variable of corporate social responsibility, mediating variables of green human resource management and environmental commitments and the dependent variable of company performance. The statistical population studied in this research was all the employees of the petrochemical companies of Mahshahr special economic zone, numbering 31800 that 380 people were selected randomly based on the Cochran formula. The data required for the research were collected through standard questionnaire and were analyzed using SPSS version 24 and Smart PLS version 3.3 software. The results of the research hypothesis test showed that corporate social responsibility had the greatest impact on green human resource management. Environmental commitments also had the highest impact on the performance of companies operating in Mahshahr Special Economic Zone. Also, green human resource management and environmental commitments played a mediating role in the effect of social responsibility on the performance of companies operating in Mahshahr Special Economic Zone.
