Today, the tourism industry has started a tough competition between the governments from the economic aspect. This competition is clearly visible at regional and local levels. This means that both the public sector and the private sector should have a general revision in the process of economic eva‎luation of tourism plans and plans, which ultimately leads to its dynamism. The city of Dezful with its historical and natural potentials has very suitable opportunities to attract tourists from all over the world and Iran, But the main problem is the lack of sufficient attention of the upstream plans to the capabilities of the historically valuable tissues in terms of managing the arrival of tourists and turning this into an economic opportunity to improve the condition of the historical tissue in the region. The purpose of the research is to identify the capabilities and capacities of tourism in Dezful Castle neighborhood in the direction of sustainable economic development, which has been examined by examining library documents and field impressions of basic information and detailed details and then by analyzing the data, policies are presented to improve the tourism situation of the neighborhood. As a result, a general tourism program has been presented according to physical and functional factors.
