جهاني‌شدن اقتصاد و ادغام فزاينده اقتصادهاي بين‌المللي منجر به تقاضاي فزاينده براي حمل و نقل ريلي شده است. اين افزايش تقاضا، ازدحام را در خطوط و شبكه‌هاي راه‌آهن افزايش داده است. علاوه بر اين، بسياري از خطوط راه‌آهن در سراسر جهان از ظرفيت لازم براي پاسخگويي به اين ميزان تقاضا برخوردار نمي باشند. در نتيجه، برنامه ريزي براي افزايش ظرفيت و يا استفاده بهتر از ظرفيت موجود ضروري است. اين پژوهش با هدف شناسايي عوامل موثر بر بهره‌وري ظرفيت استفاده شده خطوط راه‌آهن با استفاده از اطلاعات 21 كشور اروپايي در بازه زماني (سال 2010 تا 2019) انجام است. تجزيه و تحليل نتايج، از مدل رگرسيون پانل ديتا و تخمين‌زننده FMOLS انجام شد. بر اساس يافته هاي تحقيق، طول مسيرهاي دوخطه، نسبت واگن به لكوموتيو، نسبت لكوموتيو به طول خطوط و ناهمگني ترافيك بعنوان مهم‌ترين عوامل تاثيرگذار بر استفاده از ظرفيت خطوط راه‌آهن تاثير مي‌گذرند. در نهايت، به منظور بهبود استفاده از ظرفيت راه آهن پيشنهاداتي ارائه شده است.

Presenting a model to identify factors affecting the efficiency of the used capacity of railway lines

The globalization of the economy, as well as the increasing integration of international economies, has increased demand for rail transportation. This increase in demand has exacerbated congestion in railway lines and networks. Furthermore, many railway lines around the world do not have the requisite capacity to fulfil this amount of demand. As a result, planning to enhance capacity or better use of existing capacity is crucial. This research aims to identify the factors affecting the efficiency of the used capacity of railway lines using the information of 21 European countries in the period (2010-2019). Analysis of the results was conducted from the panel data regression model and the FMOLS estimator. According to the findings of the research, the length of two-track routes, the ratio of wagons to locomotives, the ratio of locomotives to the length of lines and the heterogeneity of traffic are the most important factors determining the use of the capacity of railway lines. Finally, in order to improve the use of railway capacity, suggestions have been made.
