In this research, the seismic response of special truss bending frames due to near and far earthquakes has been investigated. To validate the model provided by Pekcan, it has been verified in SAP2000 software, and the values of periodicity and cover curve of the model have been validated and Pekcan's model has been compared, which has a satisfactory agreement. For nonlinear dynamic analysis of time history, 7 near-field acceleration maps and 7 far-field acceleration maps were compared according to the standard 2800, fourth edition. Plastic joints are calculated and assigned to elements according to FEMA 356. After modeling and analysis, the outputs of the maximum displacement of the floors, the comparison of the maximum displacement of different records, the drift between floors, the displacement-time diagram, the base cut-time diagram, the number and condition of the plastic joints have been extracted from the software. The examination of the foundations shows that although the increase in floor and mass has a direct relationship, the increase process is not linear, so that the maximum foundation shear of the 15-story structure, which has approximately three times the mass compared to the 5-story structure, is 35. It has increased by 57%. The maximum base shear in the 5, 10 and 15 story structure is 5730/952, 5788/277 and 9017/654 KN respectively. Examination of the formed plastic joints also indicates that the Coyote Lake field record has the lowest joint state with a state beyond the LS state. In such a way that there was no element damage in any of the 5th, 10th and 15th floor structures. In the 10-story structure and in far-field earthquakes, the most joints with >CP status are related to the Westmorlands record. In the earthquakes of the near field for the 10-story structure, the most joints with >CP status are for the Kobe record. In the near-field earthquakes for the 15-story structure, the most joints with >CP status are for the Kobe record. By comparing the condition of the joints of all three structures, it can be concluded that in distant records, the Westmorlands earthquake is more destructive in all structures, and in earthquakes in the near area, the Kobe record has more destructive effects. The results and investigations of this research show that with the increase in the height of the structure, earthquakes in the far domain have a greater influence on the nonlinear behavior of the structure and impose more destructive effects on the structure
