At present, after various urban projects throughout the history of urban planning, the sustainability of urban spaces has played the most prominent role in urban design and planning projects. Because now the design structure of neighborhoods and urban context has a direct impact on energy consumption. Thus, at the top of the structure and texture of urban neighborhoods is sustainable development, followed by energy consumption planning in neighborhoods. In this regard, the reason for choosing Joybareh neighborhood as a study sample of this research is that Joybareh, which is one of the oldest neighborhoods in Isfahan and due to having all the criteria of burnout and lack of energy consumption pattern, needs to be organized in accordance with sustainable development standards and LEED -ND is to reduce energy consumption.
Joybareh neighborhood has a lot of potential to have a significant impact on the stability of the neighborhood and reduce energy consumption in the city of Isfahan. This research has been done with the help of all field, theoretical and library researches, including analysis, review and design using GIS, CEA, Sketchup, and other application software.
According to the above, this research was conducted in five chapters. In the first chapter, the generalities and framework of the research, the purpose and questions of the research, in the second chapter, the theoretical foundations of the research which is based on terminology, texts and experts' views, in the third chapter, the study of similar global experiences and the resulting points for sustainable neighborhood design. The reduction of energy consumption has been studied in it. In the fourth chapter, the location of the site (Joybareh neighborhood) has been reviewed and analyzed and it has been recognized as a dilapidated neighborhood with many potentials. And the capabilities of Joybareh neighborhood have been done by applying the criteria obtained from the studies of previous chapters.
According to the studies, questions and objectives of this study, the findings of the study is that the neighborhood of Joybareh, in addition to having a high percentage of erosion, and has become one of the most unsafe and relatively uninhabited and abandoned neighborhoods And there is no organized planning to prevent waste of energy consumption and sustainable development criteria in the neighborhood, so in order to sustainably organize this neighborhood, the stream is divided into three sub-neighborhoods in proportion to the pedestrian access radius for the neighborhood. And it is hoped that with the proposed rules and design options, the Joybareh neighborhood can be brought to a satisfactory percentage of sustainability by improving the passages, the center of the neighborhood and sub-neighborhood, public spaces, pedestrians and pedestrians by applying the qualities of urban design.
The results of this research, which has been obtained with the help of four chapters of theoretical foundations and cognition, are redesign and physical organization of the dilapidated neighborhood of Joybareh using sustainability factors, presenting a sustainable, energy-friendly, inclusive design with visual appeal and tourist attraction. To Joybareh neighborhood and improve the vitality and economic conditions of this neighborhood as the central core of Isfahan, increase security and reduce the causes of wear and also connect this neighborhood by using the sidewalk and access to the relaxed local horse to the Isfahan Grand Mosque and finally improve Sustainable conditions have been in the dimensions and qualities of urban design in the neighborhood of Joybareh
