Population growth,urbanization and economic profitability have slightly increased housing production and reduced attention to the quality of housing and ignoring social and human values in housing design, so the effort to achieve social sustainability in housing complexes has become more important. Which measured and eva‎luated with its main structure, that’s mean quality of life, and this measurement requires the study and identification of dimensions of social sustainability and sub-branch concepts of each dimension, and finally, by improving and implementing these indicators, the contex for satisfaction, Interactions and participation of as many residents as possible in residential complexes are provided. The aim of study is to find the effective criteria of social sustainability of residential complexes and seek their practical solutions. At first, the library method was used to collect data. In the first stage, questionnaires were sent to a number of sociologists Then, after receiving the answers and analyzing the feedback of the first stage, in the form of a questionnaire with 29 questions. It was given to 33 residents of Qasrdasht. In the next stage, a questionnaire with 30 questions was asked from 31 architects. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS software. The results indicate that the most influential components from the viewpoint of the residents of the neighborhood are social welfare and physical order, and also from the view point of experts, the implementation of social order and participation has a higher priority.
