Humans are perhaps one of the few living beings on the planet who are aware of their existence and how to live, and know that other beings before us, who once spread all over this planet, have been wiped out in the blink of an eye. Many factors from inside or outside this planet threaten our life. Although the defense mechanism of the human psyche is such that it imagines immortality as a defense against the fear of death, we must be aware that there is no guarantee that the human race will remain as a dominant species on earth. Therefore, in this research, an attempt has been made to find an optimal mode for the design of early settlements in one of the closest planets to us, that is, Mars, as the closest extraterrestrial solution, according to the Mars substrate. For a better understanding of the problem, topics under the title of future, environmental qualities and Mars have been studied. In this way, the main issue is the challenges we face on Mars, very low temperature, lack of sufficient air pressure, solar and cosmic radiation are among the threats on the surface of this planet. Achieving this aim is mainly through the study of examples designed in competitions, or works designed for some universities and related companies such as NASA. By determining the components related to the environmental qualities, which include the parts of site specifications, external structure and internal structure, the samples are analyzed and a design framework is obtained, then according to the standards and conditions of the desired site and these frameworks, the design guidelines has been achieved.
