Historical textures have emerged in special conditions and have gone through transformations in different periods of history until they came into their current form and found a unique and unrepeatable existence. Therefore, their preservation is basically a contribution to the history and civilization of the country. But unfortunately, nowadays we see the destruction of these valuable buildings. Therefore, the subject of this research was the design of a school in a historical context using infill approach, in addition to providing a solution for preserving and revitalizing a historical context, to improve its quality. Since the infill approach provides strategies and components to create harmony with the context, it is a suitable approach to achieve design strategies and solutions in the historical context. The historic area of Sardar is one of the important areas of the historical context of Qazvin city. In this range, there are visual, physical and spatial disturbances. Especially after the extension of West Ansari Street and the destruction of the surrounding residential context, it has remained undecided for years. Therefore, in order to improve this neighborhood, the current research, using the descriptive and analytical method, examines the existing characteristics of the fabric based on infill indicators and analyzes the data using the SWOT eva‎luation model. It provides four strategies and related solutions to solve the weakness of existing uses and confusion in massing, landscape, passages, views and other physical and functional aspects. Finally, it presents a strategic plan resulting from strategies and solutions and an architectural design project related to it.
