Today, organizational survival is the trend towards new products and the use of methods to create new and successful products. With the advancement of technology, the increasing competitiveness of organizations and the emergence of new production sciences and equipment, fundamental changes in the needs and tastes of customers, etc., have made the production of new products face new challenges. In such a situation, it is necessary to know which factors lead to the continuous success of new product development and which factors lead to the superiority of some companies in introducing new products to the market. In this regard, the present study was conducted in 1401 with the aim of improving the application of Taguchi's design of experiments with the help of gray taxonomy (case study: new product development). For this purpose, first by reviewing the research literature, the number of 18 indicators affecting the development of the new product were identified and by using the fuzzy Delphi technique, 13 more important indicators were determined. Next, in order to determine the weight of the importance of each index, the Taguchi test design technique was used; Based on these four indicators, "determining the target market and quickly identifying new market opportunities, choosing customer-oriented ideas based on studying the background and previous opinions of customers, developing dynamic, interactive, and appropriate strategies for changes and paying attention to the needs of customers in building a new product model and "Product manufacturing operations" had a higher weight than the rest of the indicators. At the end, in order to check the progress of the projects, the gray taxonomy technique was used; Based on this, the development rate of the first, second and third new products are on average, good and poor, respectively.
