Today, with development of IoT technology, industrial field is expected to experience a paradigm shift through IoT and massive data analysis from common digital industry of third generation to industry based on intelligence, which is called the fourth generation industrial revolution. However, the existence of security challenges, privacy, trust in the IoT and common attacks on the centralized infrastructure of this technology can be mentioned as some of the main obstacles to the expansion of this technology. One of the emerging and significant solutions in solving these challenges is the use of distributed ledger technologies (for example, blockchain) which, due to its main sub-technologies, i.e. public key infrastructure, P2P networks, and consensus mechanisms, are known and respond to the challenges expressed in the IoT, Despite solving challenge of data integrity in the IoT, the block chain is not able to guarantee the non-tampering of data before entering the block chain. For example, if data received from the sensor nodes is changed due to the injection of malware into the gateway node, the block chain will not be able to detect this. In order to answer this challenge, in this research, a consensus mechanism based on reputation is used to achieve Consensus in the block chain network is proposed by considering the reputation of the gateway nodes in the IoT. In this consensus, a voting system is used for peers based on their behavior in the network. Voting is done by a group of judges (jury) assigned to each miner in the network. In case of misbehavior or good behavior of any IoT gateway, the judges of that gateway reduce or increase the score of that node based on a dynamic calculation mechanism and according to the defined factors. In this research, the attacks on this consensus mechanism have been pointed out, an analysis has been made on the stability of the consensus mechanism, and it has been determined that the presented solution works in accordance with the CAP theory, and it has also been shown that in terms of attacks that are directed at the consensus, in compared to similar work, it has higher resilience.
