The tourism potential of Chabahar is very high, especially in the cold seasons of the year. The climate of Chabahar has special natural features and has a unique nature that is formed from the connection of the sea and the desert, sand dunes, Martian mountains and so on, and it presents a very beautiful landscape for tourists. In addition, Chabahar has a special position in the southeast of Iran and its connection with Asia due to its logistical position and based on Iran national policies. However, it is not currently equipped with a passenger airport in terms of tourism. In this thesis, a total of 44 foreign and domestic airports, and specifically 12 cases related to the issues of concept, cover, structure and approach to the field of sustainability, are inspiring and tried to design a suitable airport according to the climatic and cultural conditions of Chabahar city and attention to the design context. At first, the review of previous researches in the field of airport and visual comfort, the standards in airport design, the review of study samples, the local climate charts and the strategies needed to provide human comfort in the environment have been mentioned. Then, the airport physical program has been extracted from the data of consulting engineers in airport designs, the expression of the initial concepts according to the design platform and finally the presentation of design documents, structure and providing visual comfort have been discussed. In the analysis phase of the climate charts, the important solutions that were used in the design are as follows: Double skin design, creating half-open space, using shadow, maximum possible height from the ground level and installation of suitable openings in order to create air flow and humidity control. Due to the importance of compatibility of the airport with the design base of the sand dune in Chabahar zone, they have been used as the main concept of the cover design in three parts: 1)The main volume of the cover, which includes the main part of the terminal. 2)Pillars or the arms of the exit gates. 3)The part of the oasis or atriums, adapted from the oases or green settlements in the desert nature, which affects the interior space of the terminal and it is for lighting the interior space to provide visual comfort for passengers in the transit section of the terminal. A very important design point is to comply with all the standards and placement of each space, so that the circulation of cargo and transit passengers is prioritized in the design and is not in any way overshadowed by the importance of the design concept. Considering the importance of the issue of visual comfort and eliminating the glare of the transit hall and paying attention to the requirements of sustainable architecture and its goals, light quality measurement indicators such as light intensity UDI, DA daylight sufficiency and Daylight Glare Probability DGP, to model the transit hall of this airport, in both cases with canopy and without canopy. Finally, the results showed that the values of light intensity after considering the canopies have decreased to the allowed amount according to the standard.
