In today's era, not paying attention to ecological and environmental issues in the design of the public urban space causes the destruction of the natural environment of the cities and its disruption in the urban space. This, in turn, over time will cause the cities to lose their identity, reduce legibility and lack of comfort for city residents, and will weaken the relationship between public spaces and nature. Also, the process of increasing urbanization and migration to cities has subsequently caused a decline in the quality of the city's environment and a severe decline in ecological foundations. If no effective action is taken to improve ecological processes and to continue using fossil fuels, unsustainable human activities will lead to climate change and huge energy challenges. Various points are presented to achieve sustainability and sustainability, one of which is ecological. It is an integrated environment that brings everyone and place of urban development to the environment of environmental sustainability, economic development and social justice.
In recent years, Charkhab neighborhood located in the three cities of Isfahan as a human settlement and activities in terms of providing security and ecological infrastructure network, sense of belonging, identity, sensory richness and social factors, has an important place. Now, what should be the specific ecological indicators for the neighborhood of the city? In response to this question and categorization into indicators based on perspective, using the method of library studies and the use of existing documents, indicators related to discovered hands are used. In the second stage, knowing the desired range through field studies, after quantitative and qualitative evaluation of studies at the intervention level of relevant organizations, a comparative comparison of environmental characteristics with predicted indicators and strengths and weaknesses. Each of the domains has been extracted and evaluated using the SWAT technique. In the third, to provide visions and strategies and policies, in order to provide operational ecological scientific steps, a part of the target area, where problems are created for the residents, is selected for design according to the evaluation criteria.
In this research, by identifying the strengths and weaknesses, it preserves and strengthens the historical identity values of the neighborhood, materials, beautifies the urban space by enhancing the role of passing around the materials, and meets the recreational and psychological needs of the residents in order to increase greenness and vitality. The area selected for design currently belongs to the management department, which has been abandoned and inactive for several years. Among the problems of this area is the creation of an inactive and unsafe wall, the lack of vitality and social supervision, which is caused by the lack of activity and the lack of proper lighting in the area, especially at night. Also, the lack of inclusive spaces for the use of all age groups, especially the elderly. Through organizing and redesigning the area, it has been tried to increase the problems of the area as much as possible and have a suitable space and make the comfort and peace of the residents to be presented in a way that provides a complete and comprehensive model from the ecological point of view.
