The use of new approaches in the design of medical centers, as a means to reduce environmental tensions and improve the quality of the environment, has garnered the attention and research of many scholars. Their findings suggest that incorporating new design approaches can create a relaxing environment, alleviate stress, and improve patients' recovery process. The aim of this research is to explore the characteristics of a smart hospital and envision the future of hospitals. The research employs a qualitative method, with a prospective nature and a descriptive-analytical approach. The study is necessary to create therapeutic spaces that not only have a functional structure but also benefit from technology and innovative medical technologies. To achieve the goal of providing practical and creative architectural solutions and planning therapeutic spaces, this research introduces the prerequisites of intelligent, forward-looking design in line with technological advancements and conducts a detailed study of relevant designs and pathologies. The ultimate objective is to transform the therapeutic view of diseases to disease management and improve patient outcomes. The research findings suggest that future hospitals will require less space since most of the care will be administered away from the hospital. Furthermore, every patient will likely have a computer chip attached to their body containing their medical information, monitored by artificial intelligence. To design smart hospitals and provide healthcare, various technologies such as telemedicine, artificial intelligence, robotics, augmented reality, virtual reality, extended reality, Internet of Things, and 3D printing will be integrated. The collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence will play a crucial role in the process of treatment, care, and health service delivery. For example, doctors will perform surgeries in collaboration with an artificial intelligence physician assistant. Additionally, the cooperation between architects and artificial intelligence will be essential. In the future, the design, location, data analysis, and interior design of hospitals will be possible with the cooperation of architects and artificial intelligence. Therefore, this research proposes that the design of this hospital be done in collaboration with artificial intelligence. Midjourney artificial intelligence was chosen for this work. First, different prompts were given to Midjourney's artificial intelligence, and images were extracted from it. Then, the functional and physical characteristics of future hospitals were obtained by analyzing the Midjourney outputs. In the next step, with the help of Midjourney artificial intelligence, and taking into account the characteristics of future hospitals, smaller spaces and different departments of the hospital were designed. Finally, taking into account the intelligence factors and the output data from Midjourney artificial intelligence, which includes the images of the impact of intelligence factors on the hospital, the characteristics of future hospitals, and the images of different departments, taking these characteristics into account, the hospital plan was designed. In conclusion, it can be said that in the future, the architect will act as a selector and choose the best outputs and use them as a design concept. At the end, the architect presents the renderings taken by himself and the concepts produced by the artificial intelligence to the artificial intelligence, so that the artificial intelligence performs the task of matching them in the shortest possible time.
