The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of technological innovation capabilities in small and medium-sized enterprises, on the development of their cooperation with large companies. To investigate this issue, after reviewing the literature and conducting eight interviews with experts, a questionnaire based on the results of the literature review and the interviews was designed and distributed among the statistical community. Since the purpose of this research is to examine the mentioned issue from the perspective of small and medium-sized enterprises, small and medium-sized knowledge-based companies that operate in the field of information technology and computer software were selected as the target community. In the first phase, using a binomial test, it was determined that the inter-organizational relationship capabilities, which include "informal and close communication of small and medium-sized enterprises with key persons in large companies", "prior acquaintance with key persons in large companies (through exhibitions, training classes), "the ability to negotiate with a large company in various fields", "the ability to present and properly introduce the company and it's products", "the ability to assess the needs of large companies and design products according to their needs" have an impact on the level and quality of innovation in Small and medium-sized enterprises and thus they can be recognized as technological innovation capabilities. In the second phase, the Impact intensity of technological innovation capabilities of small and medium-sized enterprises on their relationships with large companies was analyzed. Using Friedman's ranking test. It was found that among the technological innovation capabilities, respectively, "marketing capabilities", "inter-organizational relationship capabilities", "strategy planning capabilities", "resource allocation capabilities", "research and development capabilities", "learning capabilities", "manufacturing capabilities" and "organizing capabilities" have the most impact on the relationship between large companies and small and medium-sized enterprises. In the third and final phase, the effect of "previous cooperation experience" on the prioritization of technological innovation capability groups was examined. It was found that with increasing experience in cooperation with large companies, the level of importance and priority of the inter-organizational relationship capabilities, learning capabilities, and strategy planning capabilities have been improved and placed in higher priorities, and the level of importance and priority of the manufacturing capabilities, research and development capabilities, and resource allocation capabilities have been reduced and placed in lower priority. The previous cooperation experience did not have any impact on the priority of organizing capabilities and had very poor impact on the priority of marketing capabilities.
