Due to the increase in pollution on the earth, the temperature of the earth is increasing daily. This increase in temperature has created problems for mankind; Among them, we can mention the spread of viral diseases, climate change, reduction of water resources, flood, drought, famine, etc. Lack of water is one of the biggest problems of mankind today and in the future. So that governments all over the world intend to produce or store water by using new methods and technologies. The city of Ahvaz has had a warm and semi-humid climate since the past, but in the last ten years, with the increase in population and the consequent increase in urbanization, the destruction of farms and groves, and the reduction of vegetation, as well as excessive damming on the Karun River, which As a result of the increase in water demand in the cities, the water level of the Karun River has decreased. This city is facing quite serious problems, such as a severe lack of water in the hot seasons of the year, a significant decrease in rainfall in recent years and severe flooding in the event of rain, the phenomenon of dust and extreme heat in the hot seasons. In this research, which was carried out using the applied-computational method, an attempt has been made to introduce new equipment and technologies to save water consumption. Then the gray water, used in the building by the best method of gray water recycling, is recycled and then after being stored in suitable sources, it can be used again for irrigating vertical farms and green spaces and green roofs. The amount of gray water produced by the complex during one year was calculated and the amount of gray water required for the hydroponic system was reduced from it, and the amount of gray water that could be used for irrigation and reused in the building was determined. According to the values calculated in this chapter, the amount of gray water produced in the entire building for elderly residents is approximately 1471.68 liters, of which approximately 187.2 to 348.8 milliliters is used in the vertical farm and hydroponic system, and from the amount The rest, which is about 1203.68 ml on average, can be used for irrigation of the green space and service flush tank.
