Some regions of the world are distinct due to their unique patterns of human culture among nations and have developed their own specific social and political culture as a result of environmental influences and interactions (Fisher, 2013: 875 and 883). It must be acknowledged that the history and civilization of Iran also possess this unique cultural pattern, yet we do not witness its effects in the transition from tradition to Iranian modernity and, perhaps, in many cases, successful efforts have been made to undermine this pattern and identity. This transitional effect on architecture leads to the neglect or reinterpretation of many rooted concepts and meanings, with some common concepts, such as the common space being reinterpreted for various reasons. The process of urbanization has led to changes in the social interactions and communication patterns of residents of a complex or even neighborhood. Today, we witness that, for countless reasons, the meaning of common spaces has taken on a different meaning. The establishment of relationships and interactions in the common space of a residential complex or neighborhood has been one of the main topics of discussion in the study and design process of this research. Clearly, the reason for this attention is that the process of establishment and recognition in the common space and communication in the shared space of social interactions and communications in urban contexts has undergone changes. Recognizing the importance of common spaces in the interaction of residents, some efforts have been made to provide the conditions for enhancing social interactions in these spaces. Indeed, the presence of a common space in the center of a neighborhood can lead to the creation of social bonds and a sense of belonging among its residents; and in case of successful management, it can provide a sense of security and vitality to the residents.
