This study aims to present a model for eva‎luating the factors affecting inter-organizational collaboration in the Iranian pharmaceutical industry. The research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-survey in terms of method. In terms of the nature of the data, it is mixed (combined). First, by reviewing the research literature, the important dimensions of collaboration were identified, including drivers, enablers, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and achievements. Then, using the Delphi method, the effective components in each dimension were identified. In the next step, using the structural equation modeling method, the relationships between the dimensions were determined. Finally, based on the research model, the relationship between the dimensions and the presentation of solutions to improve the impact of the components were explained. Field data were collected through interviews and the Delphi method and then analyzed quantitatively using a questionnaire developed based on the qualitative model. The statistical population of this research included 40 active manufacturing companies in the country's pharmaceutical industry. Sampling was done randomly using Cochran's formula, and finally, 353 valid questionnaires were collected. Data analysis was performed using LISREL software and structural equation modeling techniques. The findings of this research showed that enablers, including processes and operations, technology, information, and human resources, have a positive impact on performance, strategic, and inter-organizational achievements. Inter-organizational collaboration in this industry can lead to improved strategic and operational achievements. This research has provided managerial and research suggestions for the future that can be useful in improving organizational performance and developing inter-organizational cooperation. The results of this research can be used as a guide for managers and researchers to strengthen inter-organizational collaboration and improve performance in the pharmaceutical industry.
