abstract According to the needs assessment, what has caused the port of Kong to be considered weak in terms of attracting tourists is the lack of knowledge of the port of Kong and the lack of suitable accommodation for visitors to the port. Therefore, according to the above, the necessity of designing an ecotourism residence in Bandar Kong has been created, and considering the chaotic climatic conditions and energy wastage in the world, the approach of this research is zero energy design. Therefore, we first discussed the theoretical framework and what was obtained before. The studies of this section have reviewed the perspective of sustainability, the local architecture of Bandar Kong and the recent researches of Safranergy. In the research method section, using the energy analysis software (Designe Builder), first the optimal layout was examined in terms of energy consumption. Five layouts, which are derived from the common patterns of Bandar Kong and modern urban planning patterns, have been analyzed, and it seems that the checkerboard layout in Bandar Kong helps to reduce energy consumption. After analyzing the optimal arrangement, we will apply the solutions to reduce energy consumption that we have extracted from the theoretical framework section. According to the review of the sources, most of the solutions for reducing energy consumption are applied to the external walls of the building, after applying the solutions, it seems that creating awnings for the openings is the most effective solution, and in the final part of the research, the details of the awnings in Bandar Kong have been presented, and the angles and The dimensions of the awnings are stated on each front. In the final part, the construction site has been analyzed by EIA method and the project environment has been prioritized in terms of construction and finally the findings of the research have been applied to the final plan. In the final plan, special attention has been paid to reducing energy consumption by preserving the local architectural values of Bandar Kong and the culture of the region.
