The arrival of a new lifestyle in the form of modernism left a deep impact on the cities. One of these effects is ecological changes due to machine life, which we can observe on a large scale, these ecological changes include: the increase in the earth's temperature and the consequent changes in the seasons, the increase in carbon dioxide and harmful particles due to the presence of cars, pollution Groundwater and aquifers, lack of water, especially in Iran, which is one of the important problems of urban planning, on the other hand, modern man has caused these changes by not paying attention to the environment, for example, man has caused the pollution of underground water and due to excessive use From them, we can see the lack of underground water, also using plants that are not suitable for the ecology of a region has caused the occurrence of diseases in humans and other issues. . The current research deals with the redesign of a part of Tehran city park with landscape ecology approach and plans landscape ecology as a useful solution to face the ecological changes that happened in that area. For this purpose, after examining the ecology of the target site, we will redesign it by preserving some spaces. The forward research is based on the purpose, among applied research and based on descriptive and analytical nature. Based on this, the data and articles related to the concepts of this research are examined and in the next stage, the data are categorized: in the other part, by examining the themes and contents in these analytical sources, the amount of attention to the researched subjects from the perspective of the researchers is discussed. . Then, solutions are presented to improve the landscape ecology conditions of the study area in the city park (eastern side of the park) based on the principles of landscape ecology for redesign. According to the obtained components, the redesign was done by developing the ecological infrastructure in the context of design and recognizing the strengths of the site. These components include: the use of local and renewable materials, energy saving and the use of renewable energy, the existence of security, the use of park transportation such as bicycle paths, subways, and walking paths, plant and biological diversity, attention to human presence. and animals and design according to them, the use of plants that reduce the temperature of the environment and are suitable for the climate, etc. Finally, the proposed plan seeks to improve the landscape ecology of the designed area in addition to creating a suitable space for all types of applicants.
