The purpose of this study is to examine the role of technological innovation in creating new businesses in Iran’s mineral processing industries. In terms of its goal, this research is developmental–applied, an‎d since it aims to determine causal relationships among variables, its data collection method is descriptive an‎d survey based. The statistical population includes the Technology Pioneers Development Company an‎d its related firms. First, a panel of experts was formed from specialists an‎d university faculty in the fields of technology management, industrial engineering, an‎d entrepreneurship, an‎d the Delphi technique was used to identify the indicators of the business model canvas as well as the relevant items. Then, from the stated statistical population, a sample of 120 individuals was selec‎ted an‎d the questionnaire was distributed to them. The data analysis shows that there is a significant relationship among technological innovation, new business creation, technological capabilities, an‎d the indicators of the business model canvas in Iran’s mineral processing industries.
